Too many Comedies a mistake, admits Katherine Heigl

While we as audience have always felt pleasured watching Katherine Heigl in so many comedies, the actress doesn’t feel the same way. The 35 year old Hollywood actress believes that being a part of so many comedies and romantic comedies has somewhere hit her career.

The charming beauty who’s currently earning praises for her role in the TV series State of Affairs said that she was being offered too many comedies and she kept doing them. "I had an amazing time. I love romantic comedies. I was so stoked to be doing them. But maybe I hit it a little too hard. I couldn`t say no. There`s nothing wrong with them, but maybe I overloaded my audience. I should have done a superhero movie or a psychological thriller," the actress said. Katherine was very much loved in the very special ‘27 Dresses’ and ‘The Ugly Truth’ while movies like ‘Killers’ and ‘Life as We Know It’ couldn’t quite connect well with the audience. "I stopped challenging myself. It became a bit by rote and, as a creative person, that can wear you down. That was part of why I took that time off, to ask myself, `What do I want? What am I looking for?` and shut down all the noise," Heigl added.

The actress has recently made her way in to TV through State of Affairs and is being loved. Well whatever Katherine may feel about herself, we have always found her charming in all her roles. May be some little would not have harmed.
