Top Celebrities Including Meryl Streep, Gwyneth Paltrow Attend Carrie Fisher Memorial Service

The leading ladies of Hollywood came to pay their last homage to veteran actress Carrie Fisher. The funeral event was held at their joint residence in Beverly Hills on January 5. To name few stars that were present at the function were Meryl Streep, Ellen Barkin and Ed Begley, Jr.

Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd, and her father, Bryan Lourd, who was Fisher’s partner in the early ‘90s, were also seen at the event. Fisher was best known for her as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films. She was 60-year-old when she passed away on December 27, after suffering a heart attack on a flight from Britain.

She was there to shoot for the third season of a British television comedy. Now, what was more unfortunate was after a day, her mother Debbie Reynolds and legendary Singin’ in the Rain singer suffered from stroke and died as well. She was 84-year-old  and reportedly was buried side by side at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.
