Vin Diesel mortgaged his home to carry out Riddick

Actor, director and producer Vin Diesel is facing a hard time because of the upcoming sci-fi venture Riddick. The 46-year-old Diesel has risked his home to complete the production work of the film. The actor confirms the same saying, "I had to leverage my house. If we didn`t finish the film, I would be homeless."

He adds to his statement that he is happy to take his step, "It`s a strange and unique sense of gratification, and it`s not like any film I`ve done in the last 10 years." As reported by Contactmusic, Vin will reprise the negative character in this franchise, which earlier he played in first two instalments, Pitch BlackandThe Chronicles of Riddick. The film is written and directed by David Twohy and is scheduled to release by September 6.
