    According to sources, actress Viola Davis has reportedly landed the role of Amanda Waller in the upcoming Warner Bros/DC movie ‘Suicide Squad.’ Davis will join a star-studded line-up including Will Smith as Deadshot, Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as the Joker. There have been murmurs that the film may also see Jesse Eisenberg reprise his ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ role of Lex Luthor.

    Pitched as ‘The Dirty Dozen’ with superpowers, director David Ayer’s adaptation of the DC comic centres on a secret government scheme which sees incarcerated super-villains sent on black ops missions in exchange for lighter sentences. According to the sources, the very talented Viola Davis will taking the role of take no nonsense Prison Warden Amanda Waller in the upcoming movie. Davis is currently starring in the uber-popular How To Get Away With Murder where she plays a legal professor. Suicide Squad is set to release in the summer of 2016.
