Speaking out about her experience while shooting for the small-screen biopic, Lohan said, "Everything I've gone through made me ready to play Liz". The show, which depicts Taylor's volatile relationship with Richard Burton whom she married and divorced twice, is one of the most anticipated serials of the year. Lohan told Us magazine, her trials and tribulations have made her both a better person and a better actress. The star said she displays more professionalism than the legendary actress she's portraying. "Elizabeth was drunk on sets. I've never been drunk on set, ever. I did my time and I respect the law," she added.

According to TMZ, a source close to the actress said that the two actors became very close while filming the movie in September and Sheen instantly offered to write her a cheque to help her out that she declined but he sent the generous cheque directly to her business manager last week and immediately used it to pay off a huge chunk of her 233,904-dollar tax bill.
