    Following his commitment to the third instalment of Wolverine, Hugh Jackman had to leave Collateral Beauty. Now according to Ace Showbiz, I am Legend star Will Smith will be taking over the project. Collateral Beauty will be the follow up to Me & Earl & The Dying Girl released in June this year.

    The story will revolve around a New York advertising executive played by Will Smith. After going through a personal tragedy, he falls into depression. To get him back on his feet, his colleagues come up with an unusual plan which works in a way they had not anticipated.

    Collateral Beauty will be directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon and written by Allan Loeb. The producers include Smith's Overbrook Entertainment alongside Anonymous Content, PalmStar and Likely Story. With Will Smith as the lead, the cast for the movie will include Rooney Mara and Jason Segel. With no release date as of yet, the movie will start its principal photography in October.
