World War Z sequel gets release date

World War Z sequel will be released on July 9, 2017, reported by TheHollywoodReporter. The movie will be produced by Brad Pitt under his banner of Plan B. The movie will be helmed by Juan Antonio Boyana.

The script for the film has been written by Steven Knight. The original film was directed by Marc Foster, which was based on the novel published in the same name by Max Brooks. The movie, which was described as an action-horror featured Brad Pitt in the lead role. Pitt essayed the role of a United Nations investigator who must find a way to stop the spread of a deadly virus.

The film also featured Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, and David Morse. The movie was released on June 2, 2013. The flick, which was made on a production budget of $190 million was a huge commercial success and earned over $540 million at the box office worldwide.
