X-Files Gets An Animated Teaser

Fox has released a new animated teaser for the forthcoming series X-Files. The teaser was released during the latest episode of Gotham. The new X-Files will bring back David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in their iconic roles.

The original X-Files was aired in 1993 and saw nine highly successful seasons. It claimed the titled for one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show follows two FBI special agents Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (Duchovny) in their journey of solving and uncovering unexplained paranormal phenomena.

The original show gathered 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, during its run time. The new X-Files will be aired on January 24 next year and will have a special two-night event. The first episode might tackle an alien abduction. Guest stars like Joel McHale, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Annabeth Gish and Annet Mahendru will also be present in the series.
