Zach Galifianakis to Voice Joker

Warner Bros. spin-off of The Lego Movie will have Zach Galifianakis as the voice of Joker. Known for his role as Alan in The Hangover franchise, Zach will be joining Will Arnett who will be the voice for Batman. The Lego Batman Movie will be directed by Chris McKay.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Batman sidekick Robin will be voiced by Michael Cera. Zach was to be seen in Masterminds, an action comedy by Jared Hess but due to bankruptcy, the movie has been postponed indefinitely. Zach also finished shooting for Keeping Up with the Joneses which is Fox 2000’s comedy show. Louis CK and Zach will be executive producing a TV show called Baskets in which Zach will be acting as well.

The forthcoming movie will be produced by Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The script will be written by Seth Grahame-Smith. The Lego Batman Movie will be released on February 10, 2017 in the U.S.
