Arun Vijay to make Kannada debut this year

Arun Vijay is set to make his Kannada film debut this year. Vijay will be seen playing a playing a role in the film, which has Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead. The 37-year-old actor will begin filming for his part from May 25.

"Kannada industry has improved a lot over the years, and is way ahead in terms of filmmaking. I am quite excited to be a part of this project", says Arun. "The best part is that most of the crew is from Chennai — director Saravanan, stunt Silva and the cameraman. So, it doesn't feel like I am going to be working elsewhere. It's a big project and I am happy to be a part of it", he added.

Arun made his Tamil film debut in 1995 and has been active ever since. He made his debut with Murai Mappillai and is currently filming for Shiv Gnaman’s Vaa Deal. After completing work on Vaa Deal, the actor says, "I am waiting for Gautham sir's project to start in Tamil. I didn't want to sign anything else here".
