Chandini: Coming To Upendra's Directorial Set Was Like Returning Home

Sandalwood star Upendra will be next seen in his next flick titled as ‘Upendra Mathe Banda’. New York based Indian actress Chandini will be making a guest appearance in the movie. The actress made her debut with Kannada blockbuster A which was also had Upendra as an assistant director.

Recently, the actress was asked about her experience of reunion with the Uppi 2 star, the actress was quoted as saying, “In addition to a guest role, we are paired in a lovely song in the film. Being on the set was pretty much déjà vu, in the sense that I felt both of us have not changed much as human beings as well as with regard to the way we look. The assistant director on the team of A is making this new film, so coming to this set was like returning home. The environment and ambience was just as friendly as it was back then”.

The actress further added, “It is ironic that even though we were a hit pair at that time, we never got around to working together again until now. While it is no doubt tough to match up to the expectations set by a film like A, a guest appearance in his film was a good idea”. She also hinted to be in talks for a full-fledged movie with Upendra.
