I Am More Excited And Nervous About Manoranjan’s Debut: Shanvi Srivastava

Filmmaker Bharath is all set for his upcoming release, Saheba, which will hit the theatres this week on August 25. The film stars Manoranjan Ravichandran, son of actor-director V. Ravichandran along with Shanvi Srivastava in the lead roles. Manoranjan is making his debut with the flick. In a recent interview, Shanvi opens up about her equation with the actor and why she is more nervous than Manoranjan for his debut.

The actress appreciated the actor and why he is important to her. When asked her take on Manoranjan’s statement that her character is as important as his in the flick, she said, Taking up a story like this, in which his character and mine share equal importance, is really commendable. Nobody would do that, especially not a star kid. They would normally look at getting into the industry with a bang, backed by a heroism-driven script.

She added, “With Saheba, the heroism is in the story and while the film is as important to me as all my other projects, this one is special because it is Mano's debut. After working together for nearly a year and a half, we have become very close friends. We gel well and have very similar thoughts. Now, honestly, I don't think about the film and my role; I am more excited, worried and nervous about him and how audiences will warm up to Ravi sir's son”.
