Majaa Talkies Welcomes Bigg Boss Kannada 3 Contestants

Saturday’s episode of Majaa Talkies started with “Sruji mama” ( Srujan)  dancing for the popular Kannada number of Punith Rajkumar “naire naire na naire ba ba”. Thanks to the fact that the names of the hosts Lokesh and Lankesh rhyme, and both having a distinct style of entertaining people. And the “noise pollution” i.e., musical thanda added overall masala to the show with musical effects.

The skit involved finding a suitable groom for Varalakshmi (played by Aparna, as Srujan’s sister-in-law). Varalaskhmi often gets teased by Srujan and Co, for having a mutual liking with Lankesh. The prospective groom is supposedly a big shot in Dubai, and owns a CWS-camel Washing station.

The groom has a fancy hyphenated name - “Munde ide guri innde ide huri my name is kadale puri” shortened for “KURI”. From his entry there are a bunch of comic moments, involving the alliteration of his name and dancing skills.

Kadale puri’s revealed how he got into this wonderful job. Muddesh (Mandya Ramesh) found this kadale puri for Varalaskmi saying foreign U-turn (to be understood as a returned NRI) a famous personality in Dubai. People enjoyed the comedy conversation between him and the host. The audience was left hanging as to the future of this groom with Varalakshmi.

The guests for this episode were participants from Big Boss 3-Kannada- Shruthi ( Big Boss-3 Winner), Chandan, Rehman and Mithra.

Shruthi is credited with patience for participating in the show for 100 days and is given an impromptu script to deliver for a scene, by Srujan. The best part was Shruthi delivering the funny lines in a serious tone, and vice versa. Shruthi has a peculiar jump which was showcased in Big Boss, while playing kabaddi. Mithra mimicked Shruthi and drew a lot of laughs.

Rehman jibed as to how Srujan felt with his presence and got a pat reply as to why he is invited in the first place. Chandan, a runner up in Big Boss-3, was calm and reserved as always.
