Nivin Pauly Expresses His Desire To Collaborate With Rakshit Shetty

Actor Nivin Pauly is all set to collaborate with Rakshit Shetty in near future. The actor, who is known for his reserved nature, has been shooting for his upcoming film, Kayamkulam Kochunni in Mangaluru since September 25. It has also been heard that the actor has been roaming in the city in disguise in his favourite look, wearing a cap.

Further, the film that he is working on currently is his longest stint in Karnataka. The film’s shooting will go on for another month at places such as Manjeshwar, Mangaluru and Udupi, after that the team is said to be shifting to Sri Lanka. Speaking about his Kalaripayyatu training in Mangaluru, the actor said, “I train for it every morning with the team of martial arts experts who have come with us from Kerala. Since this period film is about the real-life Robin Hood of Kerala, Kayamkulam Kochunni, director Rosshan Andrrews felt that coastal Karnataka, with its old-world charm, would fit the bill perfectly in terms of location”.

Moreover, revealing his desire to work with his close buddy Rakshit Shetty, he said, “We are planning to work together soon. It could start off with a cameo and later move to bigger things, but we have to start off somewhere. It's high time we did away with this language divide and started working as artistes”. Nivin’sfirst Kannada flick was Tamil remake of Ulidavaru Kandante, directed by Gautam Ramachandran and Rakshit Shetty.
