After basking success for ‘Boxer’, Preetham Gubbi is up for another sports drama. The filmmaker has reportedly roped in six national champions for the project. The film is supposed to go on floors from December 15 in Bangalore. The two lead characters will be played by fresh faces Prithvi and Malavika Mohanan, who are grandson of music director G.K. Venkatesh Prithvi and daughter of ace cinematographer KU Mohanan respectively.

Preetham has revealed, “The race track is getting ready behind Manyata Tech Park at Bhartiya City and Vijaykumar is helping us in getting the tracked designed. He is also arranging the best riders for us. They are equally excited to part of the film because a movie on motocross racing is rare in Indian cinema”.

He further said that it was necessary to bring the national riders on board. “If we don’t have experts riding, it will obviously not look authentic, since it is a tough sport and any cover up by the technical team will show upfront”, he said. It is said that the director is planning to organise a grand event in Sri Linka where the climax scene of the flick will be shot. Talking about that he said, “Two tracks in Sri Lanka are famous for bike rides. Vijay has a few contacts there and we are utlising their expertise”.
