Prem and Amulya shot continuously for 48 hours to film a song. Song shoots rarely take that long, but when the duo were filming for a song Ninnande Nodalendu in Male, the actors ended up doing more work than they expected. Song shoots are generally not time consuming as the only time wasted depends upon set and costume changes.

"The song is in the backdrop of a wedding. Amulya attends the wedding of a friend, and my character also happens to be there. The song starts at a time when I realize that Amulya is in love with me. Choreographer Harsha wanted to capture a very realistic setting, so we were asked to be as casual as possible with our body language, the way we looked at each other, etc”, said Prem.

“If you see the song, you will feel that a real-life couple is onscreen. To get the mood right, we decided to shoot continuously for 48 hours”, he added. Producer R Chandru adds that the idea was also to get onscreen a 'maduve mane' as it unfolds. "It was about continuity also. For instance, the floral decorations at such a house wilts a little by evening. We wanted to get even that onscreen", he says.
