    Sanam Shetty’s Sandalwood Debut

    The beautiful software engineer turned actress, Sanam Shetty, has made it to the Sandalwood industry. The actress was previously seen in multiple Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam flicks. Sanam makes her debut here with the Kannada-Tamil bilingual, ‘Vara/Manju Virattu’, which has Avinash Narasimharaju in the lead.

    Sanam Shetty says, “I've been a model since my college days in Bengaluru, which I continued even after I began working. My Tamil debut, Ambuli, in fact, happened after the makers saw a print campaign that I had done. I then got breaks in Telugu and Malayalam as well and am now back to my roots.”

    Sanam disclosed some important details about her Kannada debut film, “That apart, what also intrigued me is that my role is quite pivotal to the story, and that the project is a bilingual. I play a doctor who is Avinash's love interest.” The last flick that featured Sanam was ‘Sawaari’. It was Guhan Senniappan directorial work that was released on March 18.
