Sandalwood filmmaker Aravind Kaushik Reveals His Next Directorial Series After ‘Huliraaya’
Sandalwood filmmaker Aravind Kaushik is known to have risen to fame with his 2010 directorial Nam Areal Ondina. Now, the auteur is set to release his next movie soon. His next flick is titled as ‘Huliraaya’.
The director revealed his next project after ‘Huliraaya’. Kaushik was quoted as saying, "After Huliraaya, these are exciting times. Audiences expect great things from movies now. I was thinking about what to make next. Also, I wanted to freak out, make sure that I create unique content, which can become important and entertaining cinema. Gangsters have always interested me, in the sense that I've always wondered about how gangsters live and what their everyday lives would be like".
The director has also revealed that the upcoming project will be a trilogy series. On being asked how he stumbled upon the idea of directing a three movie series based on the same story, Aravind was quoted as saying, “Once someone is a gangster, he is always supposed to be intelligent as well as intimidating. As I got thinking, a lot of interesting stories formed and that is when the thought of a trilogy cropped up. The film will speak of universal emotions, but in a Bengaluru setting. I will reveal the title of the first of the trilogy soon as well as the actor. The music for the film is by Satish Babu and cinematography by Manu Yaplar”.
