Shivarajkumar’s Tagaru Gets Insured

Duniya Soori is a prominent name in the Sandalwood industry and when he is helming a film, it has to be a box-office hit. The filmmaker is now all geared up for his next release, ‘Tagaru’, with Shiva Rajkumar. This will be their second film together after ‘Kaddipudi’. The flick, which released in 2013, fared well at the box-office.

The latest in the front about Shiva Rajkumar’s ‘Tagaru’ is that the team has insured themselves to protect themselves from any troublesome incidents or risks during the making of the flick. Sandalwood films are now leaving no stone unturned to take every possible measure to ensure the safety of their team. KP Srikanth, who is bankrolling the project, said that the team has now secured itself from any complications.

He said, "The process took us around a fortnight or so. The meetings with insurance officials require one to be quite prepared with all answers. Especially after the Maasthi Gudi incident, a lot of questions relating to the making are asked. They double check on the stunts, the kind of locations and the equipments used. We need to list out the risky stunts. We also have to provide a list of all details, including about the production house, director's profile, information about actors, etc".

Tagaru features Shiva Rajkumar and Manvitha in the lead roles along with Dhananjay, Bhavana Menon, Vasishta N. Simha, Devaraj and Suhasini Maniratnam in key supporting roles. The flick is slated for a November release.
