Vidya Pradeep to Star Opposite Shiva Rajkumar In Yogi C Raj’s Next

Yogi C Raj who introduced Telugu actress Nandini Rai to the Kannada film industry in his directorial debut Khushi Khushiyaagi, is all set to introduce another actress for the follow up film. Malayalam-Tamil actress Vidya Pradeep will be seen playing the female lead role in the next chapter of the series. The movie will star Shiva Rajkumar in the male lead role.

The actress is popular for her roles in films like Saivam and Pasanga 2. On being asked why he chose her for the role, Yogi said, “because she fits the role”. The shooting of the movie will start by mid-March.

He further explained, “We were scouting for local talent, as we needed someone who could effectively carry off a westernized as well as Indian look. When we couldn't find the right fit, we looked around and came across Vidya's work in some of her Tamil films. She will be perfect for the role”.
