Yogaraj Bhat Talks About Mugulu Nage's Success

Yogaraj Bhat’s directorial ‘Mugulu Nage’ released last week and is doing well at the box-office. The film brought together actor Ganesh and Bhatt after 10 years and it worked for the audience. In a recent interview, the filmmaker revealed the reasons why the film is doing well at the theatres.

He said, “This film turned out to be a complete package of sorts — unplanned one at that. There is an innocence that was there towards filmmaking that existed even when we made Mungaaru Male. By innocence, I mean, we did not chalk out a formula or plan for this to be a complete package that reaches out to all sections of the audience. So, in a way, I am kind of taken by surprise with this reaction from the audiences”.

Bhat also credited the story line of the flick for its success. Earlier, the team had a special show of the film to impress the firer sex. Helmed by Yogaraj Bhat, the flick is being jointly bankrolled by Ganesh and Syed Salaam. Apart from Ganesh, the film also features Apoorva, Nikitha Narayan and Ashika Ranganath in the lead roles.
