Actor Rahman Joins Detroit Crossing’s Cast

Nirmal Sahadev is all set to make his debut directorial Detroit Crossing, which stars Prithviraj as the lead character. Recently, actor Rahman has also joined the film. The actor had earlier shared screen space with Prithviraj in the film Mumbai police. Rahman is currently busy shooting in the US.

In a recent interview, Rahman revealed, “My character is a daring step in Malayalam cinema. It's something I have not done before and so I am taking it as a challenge. The role is part of the suspense of the film and so I can't reveal anything further”. He further added, “Though it's Nirmal's first film, he is a smart chap. The entire crew is from the US and so the pattern of movie making is different. But it's shaping up good and it's a new learning experience for me too”.

The shooting of a few scenes of the flick had been done in Atlanta in September before moving to Augusta, Georgia. Latest reports reveal that due to some misunderstanding some policemen came to the sets on hearing gunshots. However, few policemen were already on the sets supervising as guns were being used as props. The film stars Isha Talwar, Ashwin Kumar, Nandu and Shivjith.
