Biju Ropes in Nivin Pauly for His Next

Filmmaker Biju has roped in Nivin Pauly for his next venture. The Premam actor, who was recently recognized as the best actor in the Kerala State film awards, will be seen playing the lead role in the parallel film venture. The actor’s fans seem excited to see him in an offbeat role for the first time.

As per reports, the title and the rest of the star cast are yet to be decided, and will soon be announced. Sources have revealed that the story has been set in the backdrop of a forest and will revolve around a social issue. The untitled project is expected to go on the floors from January 2016, after the release of Biju’s ‘Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal’, starring Kunchacko Boban.

The veteran director is known for his serious movies like ‘Saira’ and ‘Veettilekkulla Vazhi’. This time, he is experimenting by casting the Oru Vadakkan Selfie star, who till now has done mainstream cinema. It will be a great challenge for the actor, as well as for the director. Now, it is to be seen how far the duo gets successful in delivering a complete entertainer.
