Fahadh Faasil To Act Alongside Sivakarthikeyan In His Tamil Debut

Fahadh Faasil is all set to make his Tamil debut with Mohan Raja’s directorial that also stars Sivakarthikeyan. More than Fahadh, the Thani Oruvan director is excited for the project. “As a director, I am really happy to work with Fazil sir's son. I am a huge fan of Fazil sir and consider him a guru. His films have taught me the basics of contemporary cinema and influenced my taste for good films”, he said.

He added, “I see him as a very important artiste in South India. I have noticed the way he portrays his characters and the nuances he brings in," he explains. On roping in Fahadh for the role, the filmmaker says, "When I scripted the character, I knew it would live up to what I had in my mind only if Fahadh played the role. The moment I contacted him, he readily and willingly accepted the offer. He also wanted to be part of my film because he was impressed with my last outing, Thani Oruvan”.

Mohan said that he wants to keep the information pertaining to Fahadh Faasil’s character under wraps. “It's a pivotal role and almost equal in prominence to that of the hero played by Sivakarthikeyan”, he added. The movie that also stars Nayantara will go on floors in July.
