    Jayasurya is one actor who likes challenges and after Fukri, the star actor is readying to play a great footballer, Captain V.P. Sathyan, in his biopic, Captain. His last week’s release, Fukri, is doing fairly well at the box office and would add more weeks to its successful run at cinema. Now, talking about the Captain, Jayasurya is going through rigorous training to get in perfect shape for the role.

    Interestingly, Fukri got him Captain, as the associate director of the flick is now making this sports biopic. “Prajeesh Sen, who was the associate director in Fukri, is directing Captain. It was on the sets of Fukri that he told me about this project and I would say it was just because of Fukri that I became part of Captain".

    Talking about his character, the actor said, “V. P. Sathyan was a legend in football.  But unfortunately, he did not get the recognition he deserved. The film is all about the life of that great player”. Now, the star is going through deep research about the sport and its lead character.
