The actor had earlier shared the screen space with Nayanthara in a Telugu film, Dubai Seenu. "When I heard that she is in the movie, I was relieved. I was happy that there will be someone I know there. She has always been a good friend, and I loved working with her then," Chakravarthy confirms to a leading English daily.

Revealing more about his experience working in a Malayalam film, Chakravarthy says, "To be honest, I was uncomfortable at first, but everyone here made me so comfortable I am enjoying it. Siddique is such a gentle person and you learn a lot of life lessons from him." He adds, "As long as the film as a whole, and not just my role, excites me, language is never a barrier."
