Jubith Namradath’s Directorial Debut Aabhaasam To Be A Social Satire

The Malayalam film industry has nowadays become a mill of launching movies which have satire genre. There have been several movies of the same genre which have released recently such as Varnyathil Aashanka, Diwanji Moola Grand Prix and Aana Alaralodalaral.

Another satire which will be joining this brigade is the movie ‘Aabhaasam’. This movie will mark the directorial debut of Jubith Namradath. The director explains about the movie saying, "It's a social satire. The story revolves around a bus and its passengers. Its sort of a travel movie in a peripheral level but there's also an under text about how people communicate with each other now". The movie stars Rima Kallingal, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Alencier Ley Lopez, Indrans, Sheetal Shyam in the lead roles.

The movie also stars Sujith Sankar, Abhija Sivakala, Sudhi Koppa and 35 newcomers in the supporting roles. The shooting of the movie will begin from June 8 onwards and the scenes will be shot in different places such as Kochi, Thrissur, Bangalore and Salem.
