Mammootty to play romantic role

Mammootty will soon be seen playing a romantic role in his latest film. The movie, which has been given a tentative title White, will be helmed by the Pranayakalam and Mrityunjayam director, Uday Ananthan. The 63-year-old actor is not new to the genre of romance having delivered hits such as Rakkuyilin Raagasadassil and Kanamarayathu.

"Mammootty plays a middle-aged man who falls in love with a 25-year-old woman. We have not finalized the heroine, the rest of the cast and technicians yet", said the director. The script for the movie has been written by Uday Ananthan, Nandini Valsan and Praveen Balakrishnan. The music has been given by Ousepachan, while Bipin Chandran has crafted the dialogues. The movie will be shot in London as well as other foreign locations.

Mammootty is currently busy with the filming of Marthandan's Acha Din. This film has been produced by S. George and scripted by A.C. Vijeesh. This year, the actor will also be involved in two projects, one with Kamal Haasan and the other with Kollywood director Ram.
