Manju Warrier’s next Will Also Have Mamta Mohandas
It was earlier reported that Manju Warrier will be playing the female lead in a Trivandrum-based film directed by Phantom Praveen. But now we hear that the movie will not have one but two actresses. Now the latest we have heard that Mamta Mohandas has also been signed in and will soon be joining the sets.
“Mamta plays an important role of a District Collector, who deals with the public at a grass root level. The story takes a turn through her character and some of the events in the film are based on real-life IAS officers and incidents,” said Martin Prakkat, who is closely associated with the flick. The shooting of the movie has started in Trivandrum, but, Mamta will join the team from next month.
The movie will show Manju’s character, Sujata who is a widow, the hardship that she faces to upbring her teenage daughter. "We had decided that Manju's character won't need make-up in the film but she surprised us all by saying she would go for a 'make down' to bring originality to the character," says Martin. Meanwhile, Mamta is waiting for the release of her upcoming Detroit Crossing alongside Prithviraj. She also has Venu's Carbon in her kitty. Carbon will have Fahadh Faasil playing the male protagonist.
