Mohanlal Gives Birthday Surprise To His Fans

Malayalam legendary actor Mohanlal, on his 57th birthday has surprised his fandom with a twitter post. The post reveals that the two time national award winning actor will be joining hands with Malayalam director Lal Jose for the first time. Lal Jose has previously directed films like Drishyam and Oppam.

The movie is titled ‘Velipaadinte Pusthakam’ (Book of Confessions) which will be a comical entertainer. Mohanlal will be portraying the role of Micahel Idikkula, a college professor who takes an initiative to bring change in the teaching system and creates a friendly bond with his students. The movie stars Reshma Rajan as the leading actress portraying the role of a young assistant professor.

The rest of the star cast includes Priyanka, Anoop Menon, Siddique, Salim Kumar, Shivaji Guruvayoor and Sharanya. The music of the film is by Shan Rahman and cinematography is by Vishnu Sharma. The movie is penned by Benny P Nayarambalam and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Ashirvad Cinemas banner.
