    Mohanlal’s ‘Kanal’ Inspired From Hollywood Classic ‘Strangers on a Train’?

    Few days back the trailer of Mohanlal’s upcoming film ‘Kanal’ was released. The teaser was hit among the viewers and hinted that the film will be full of suspense. The 1 minute 15 second trailer managed to excite the audience and they are eagerly waiting for the release of the film.

    Speculations are rife that the film is adaption of hit Hollywood movie ‘Strangers on a Train’. The trailer suggests that the story of the film revolves around two strangers who meet on a train. It also involves murder and revenge. All these factors have forced people to believe that the flick has been inspired from the Hollywood classic. The same concept has been already used in Tamil film ‘Muram’.

    The team is gearing up for the release of the film, which is expected to hit the theatre screens on October 22. The film has been helmed by director M. Padmakumar and has been produced by Abraham Mathew. Ouseppachan and Vinu Thomas have handled the music department for the suspense thriller.
