Mollywood Star Saiju Kurup Talks About Reprising His Role In This Upcoming Sequel

Mollywood star Saiju Kurup is known to have starred in movies such as Aadu, Vedivazhipadu and Pilla Rakshasi. The actor is known to have made his debut with the movie Mayookham, which was helmed by Hariharan. The actor has received a lot of praises for his character in the 2015 movie Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu as ‘Arackkal Abu’.

The latest news is that the actor will be reprising his role as ‘Arackkal Abu’ in the upcoming movie titled as ‘Aadu 2’, which will be a sequel to Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu. The actor’s character in the upcoming sequel is a butcher. Regarding his role, the actor stated that reprising the role again is not be a piece of cake for him. He was quoted as saying, “My character in the first part was someone who acted very rough and tough in the beginning only to turn out to be a coward. So I was confused about which body language I should adapt — the roughneck or the coward!”.

‘Aadu 2’ stars Jayasurya, Harikrishnan, Dharmajan and Vijay Babu. The movie is helmed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The shooting of the movie has been completed and it is in its last stages of completion.
