Prakash Bare all praises for his old friend, Shyamaprasad

Prakash Bare made his acting debut in 2010 film, Sufi Paranja Katha, and has been a part of many projects and believes in selecting a project only when it convinces him absolutely. Recently, he was highly appreciated for his performance in Shyamaprasad’s Ivide. He bagged the role in the flick as he is an old friend of the director.

“Shyamaprasad is an old friend and so when he suggested I do this character who is from an IT background, I decided to go ahead. It is a comical character who speaks Malayalam with a Kannada twang but Shyamaprasad had the confidence that I can do it”, said the actor.

According to many, his performance in Ivede has been the best one, but Prakash has held the director responsible for this success. He added, “Shyamaprasad is someone I respect a lot, who nudges a better performance from his actors. He has a lot of potential which was evident mostly in his works like Ore Kadal. He can do much better but has had to compromise on various aspects owing to the workings of the industry. His potential is not being used fully and that's a loss to the Malayalam industry, unfortunately”.
