Salih Haneef Ventures Into Film Music

After his stint as a full time musician and a playback singer, Salih Haneef has now rendered tunes to the song Laila Laila from the movie Basheerinte Premalekhananam. The song is composed by Vishnu Mohan Sithara, while the lyrics have been penned by Shinto Koodattu. The romantic track features Manikandan Achari and Ranjini Jose.

Apart from singing and lending music, Salih is a great guitar player. He was introduced to the film industry by the legendary Mohan Sithara and has also sung several songs tracks for his musical album Mahaaal Sahasram. Another feather in his cap is being trained in carnatic music.

Salih has also done numerous stage shows and live performances at Thrissur’s Vadakkunatha Temple. Currently, Salih is busy working on some musical projects and stage shows. ‘’I want to do more things in music. I am still working for that. I believe that love and humanity lead to a peaceful world. Lokha samastha sukhino bhavanthu,’’ said the 27-year-old.
