Salim Kumar’s Next To Have Jayaram

Director Salim Kumar made his directorial debut with the film Compartment. Apart from directing, Salim also acted in the movie along with Suresh Gopi, Anjali Aneesh Upasana and Kalabhavan Mani. Then he went on to direct his second film Karutha Joothan which received great reviews from critics and audience.

Karutha Joothan starred Salim in the lead role, while Ramesh Pisharadi, Subheesh Sudhi, and Usha were seen in vital roles. The film won the Best Actor, Second Best Actor, Best Comedian and Best Story awards at the 47th Kerala State Film Awards. Now, the National award winning director is coming up with his third movie titled Daivame Kaithozham K. Kumar Aakanam.

The flick is touted to be a humour-based commercial entertainer, different from his previous two movies. The film will have Jayaram playing the lead role. Salim will write the script, while Nadirshah will compose the music. The team will start shooting for the flick from today.
