Samuthirakani Bring In Jayaram And Asha Sharath For Appa Remake

After receiving huge accolades for Appa, actor-director Samuthirakani is planning to make the Malayalam version as well. The talented star is working on the script and has also finalized two key characters for the movie. The movie portrays how parents raise their children these days with touch of realism.

 “I have roped in Jayaram and Asha Sharath for important roles. We are planning to commence shooting by the end of November. Currently, we are in the process of finalising the rest of the cast,” said Samuthirakani.

About bringing Jayaram on board, the filmmaker said, “Kalidas suggested his father watch Appa. Jayaram saw the film and appreciated the content. He then expressed his interest in doing the film in Malayalam”. Samuthirakani revealed that he would be making minor changes to the script to suit Mollywood fans.
