Suresh Gopi’s look in Rudrasimhasanam revealed

Actor Suresh Gopi, who makes headlines every now and then, is in the news again. In his upcoming movie Rudrasimhasanam, the actor is all set to play an intense character. His new look has recently been revealed in which the star flaunts long hair, beard and a big tikka. The versatile actor, who has acted in more than 200 films, is all set to portray the role of a yogic personality in his next.

Talking to a leading English daily, scribe Sunil Parameshwaran reveals, "Suresh Gopi plays the character of an Avadoothan who isn't concerned about worldly pleasures and desires. Nobody knows his whereabouts; where he comes from or and what his real name is. In each place, he is known by a different name. Generally known as Rudrasimhan, he is also popular as Usthad, Udumban and Rudranasan.”

Sunil further adds that all the characters in the film are figurative representations of something. "For instance, the character played by Nikki Galrani, Thamburatti Haimavathi, represents dreams, while Shweta Menon who play Umayamma is synonymous with fate. Suresh Gopi's character is equated to supreme consciousness (Chaithanyam)," says the scriptwriter.

The writer further informs that the periodic movie also has a message for all. "It narrates the complications and conflicts in familial relationships. The movie also discusses the pitfalls awaiting us if we go after forbidden pleasures," he adds.
