Tovino Thomas To Romance Ahaana Krishna In Luca

Actor Tovino Thomas and actress Ahaana Krishna, of Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela fame, have been roped in for the upcoming movie Luca. This is the first time that the two will be paired opposite each other. Touted to be a romantic mystery thriller, the flick will be directed by Arun Bose, a professor at Madras Christian College, who has a few documentaries to his credit.

Talking about the movie, Ahaan said, “There is nothing happy-go-lucky about it, and it will be a very intense film. Tovino plays the title character, Luca, while I play his lover, Niharika. I'm looking forward to the shoot, as my character has a lot of scope for performance. It's a huge opportunity for someone like me."

The movie will start rolling as soon as Tovino wraps up his prior commitments. "The makers are all friends and Tovino has known them for years. So he has introduced all of them through a live video," says Ahaana. The script has been written by Arun and Mridul George.
