Vijay shows support to wife Amala Paul

The Kollywood filmmaker is always seen in support of wife Amala Paul. The filmmaker was present at the audio launch of his wife’s next film Lailaa O Lailaa (LOL). The 23-year-old’s entire family was also present at the function.

"I enjoyed Joshiy sir's Run Babby Run. It was after watching this film that actor Vijay asked me if I could cast Amala Paul in Thalaivaa. In fact, Amala was happier away from me, working with Mohanlal and Joshiy for Lailaa O Lailaa", said Vijay.

The director, who is also a die-hard Mohanlal fan, recalled some incidents during the shoot of the film, "I remember working with Lal sir for Kakkakuyil. It is very easy to work with him. There was a bank robbery scene and Jagathy sir had to fall on a chair. The chair was unstable. I was assigned the task of holding it from one side so that it doesn't move. I got nervous because I shouldn't come in front of the camera and then I found that someone else too was holding the chair from the other side. It was none other than Mohanlal! I was amazed that a superstar was doing it without any airs. Thank you Lal sir".
