15 Times Bollywood Actors Gave Great Performances In Bad Films

Given how much importance the media and the public afford to the actors, acting is often related to how a good film is. Meaning: if performances in a movie/show seem good or in fact are good, then the film or the show must be good too and vice versa. 

This approach is not entirely incorrect. Good performances are the by-product of good writing and good direction. Another way to put this would be: for an actor to perform well, he/she needs material to work with along with a supportive hand over the shoulder from the director. And that does prove that good acting does, in fact, means that the movie is good too.

However, we often forget that acting is a discipline that is heavily based on individual talent. And, at the same time, we also forget that to make a good, cohesive movie a lot of things need to be done correctly by the film's makers. So, it's possible that an actor can still be great in his role and gives a knockout performance but the movie in itself can be bad.
