The Qaidi Band Trailer Looks Like Bollywood's Orange Is The New Black With Some Promising Performances

Yash Raj Films recently introduced Anya Singh and Aadar Jain in a grand launch and right after dropped the bomb with the poster of their Bollywood film Qaidi Band. No point for guessing that the trailer of the film is also already out and there is an attempt to do something new in Bollywood that has already been tried in the west.

Qaidi Band takes you into the prisons of India, somewhere you haven’t been in any Bollywood film before. We certainly expect no prison to look good but they sure make an intriguing story.

But Aadar Jain and Anya Singh certainly impress with their performances as the badasses of the prison where they are under trial and are dying to get out.

While you certainly haven’t seen something like this in Bollywood the trailer will certainly give you some strong feels of the Netflix series Orange is The New Black, which take you into the life of a girls prison and acquaints you with the stories of the inmates.

7 inmates form a Quadi Band which is promised to be their ticket to their freedom and they certainly try their best to make their mark to escape.

But as happens in any highlighted trial the matter is politicized and their under trails are halted. Now these band members strive hard to win their freedom with their music.

The trailer that has otherwise promising performances sadly gives out the entire story of the film it seems, and we lack reasons after watching the trailer to want to go and watch it in theatres now.
