6 TV Stars Who Have Been In Trouble With The Law!

Tv stars are closer to the people and share a better connect to their audiences compared to their Bollywood counterparts. They are more like a part of every Indian household instead of being a star who is far away from us. Therefore, sometimes they need to have a soptless and clean image so that the audiences can quickly associate them with the 'adarsh' son or daughter! 

But many a times, TV celebs have been found on the wrong side of law. While many a times it was just accusations, there are certain times when warrants were issued against them or they had to spend some time inside the jail. Here are a few TV Celebrities who have been in trouble with the law:

1. Alka Kaushal

The actress who has appreared in a number of Tv shows like Qubool Hai, Swaragini and Kumkum and a few films have been sent on a two years improsonment! Apparently, she and her mother had taken 50 lakhs to make a serial. When that did not happen, he asked for his money back. Kaushal handed him two cheques of 25 lakh each, both of which bounced! Both the  additional sessions judge of the court and the lower court sentenced her to two years imprisonment!

2. Rakhi Sawant

The most controversial reallity TV star has a warrant issued against her by the Punjab court! She had given out statements against Valmiki and a person filed a case against her for hurting communal sentiments. She had pleaded for a bail, but a fresh warrant has been issued because she failed to appear in the court on the said date!

3. Parth Samthaan

The actor has recently been accused of molesting a 20 year old model.The model had filed a complaint to Mumbai Police saying that Parth had asked her for sexual favours and when she repeatedly turned them down, she started getting lewd calls from other men. She also claimed that he has been harassing her for 4 years, because of which Parth was booked under Section 8 and 12 of POSCO Act on April 23, 2017. While the case was withdrawn, he still remains as a controversial Tv star!

4. Shilpa Shinde

There had been a long ongoing case between Shilpa and the makers of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. After being banned grom CINTAA, the actress filed a sexual assault case against the husband of the show's producer, Sanjay. The producer responded to it, not just by claiming that all these are false but by also registering a case of defamation against the actress!

5. Piyush Sahdev

The Beyhadh actor was accused of rape and arrested on 22nd November 2017. He is currently in police custody pending further investigations.

6. Monica Bedi

The star, who now works in Tv had been arrested a number of times because of her connections with underworld don abu Salem! She was sentenced to two years improsonment for having forged travel documents!
