8 Actor-Director First Time Pairings We Would Pay To Watch

Bollywood has a number of talented performers in various categories, be it actors, singers, dancers, producers or directors. Many people have proven themselves times and over with their powerful performances in their respective fields. Whilst a film is a product of various people coming together behind the scenes, it is primarily known and sold in the name of the actors leading it or the directors directing it.

The film industry is so big that every actor or director is able to carve out space for themselves and keep making films. A certain number of actors-directors prefer to work together as either they are comfortable with each other professionally or share a great personal rapport. This leaves some of the great actors and directors yet to work with each other. Here are 8 actors-directors we would love to watch together in a film:

Aamir Khan-Karan Johar- One is the actor who makes people think with their minds and other is the director whose all films deal with the matters of the heart. A powerful and unusual combo.

SRK-Rajkumar Hirani- One may be the best actor of his generation and the other is probably the best director working today. Both have wowed the audiences with their body of work and it will be interesting to see them working together.

Ranveer Singh-Anurag Kashyap- One is a bundle of energy while the other is the leader of gritty black dramas. Known to get some of the most powerful and dark performances from his actors, it'll be interesting to see a film with these 2 on board.

Salman Khan-Rohit Shetty- Three words, Big Boom Blockbuster.

Ajay Devgn-Kabir Khan- Ajay jas mostly stayed away from gritty roles recently in exchange for roles in masala potboilers. While Kabir Khan has also managed to grip the bridge between commercial and critical cinema, it would be interesting to see this pairing. 

Ranbir Kapoor-Farhan Akhtar- One of the best actors of current lot and the director who captivates the youth every time he writes/speaks/directs a new project. Audiences would love to see the result.

Akshay Kumar-Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra- Akshay Kumar is slowly shifting gears towards patriotism and who else but Rang De Basanti's director to give him a magnum opus of his own.

Hrithik Roshan-Imtiaz Ali- He gave a great performance in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara where he rediscovers himself and it may be one of his best. A collaboration with Imtiaz Ali would be amazing. A Greek God traveling places while rediscovering himself would make a nice watch.
