    It was a star-studded Saturday evening at Hyderabad International Convention Center where the prestigious 60th Filmfare Awards ceremony (South) was held to acknowledge the talents down South. Prominent figures from the entire Southern film fraternity, comprising all the four South Indian film industries, marked almost full attendance at the gala show.

    Among the celebrity guests the show was shining with stars like Dhanush and wife Aishwarya, Ram Charan, Nagarjuna and wife Amala, Venkatesh, Shruti Haasan, Amala Paul, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nag Chaitanya, A.R. Rahman, Tamannaah Bhatia, Priyamani, Rana Daggubati and Kushboo Sundar among many others. Southern sensations like Shruti, Amala Paul, Sunaina and Sharmila Mandre also entertained the audience with some magnificent on-stage performances. While Raanjhanaa actor Dhanush won two esteemed awards for his contribution to Tamil film industry, Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan was also honoured with one of the top category awards.
