Aathmika Is Happy Over Her Debut Movie’s Response

Actress Aathmika who debuted in Kollywood with Meesaya Murukku is on the seventh heaven. The young actress is very delighted the way her debut film is getting response. She is currently busy with the post-release promotions, running from one theatre to another in order to know audiences’ response.

When asked about the audiences’ response, Aathmika said, “While we always knew that the audience will like our film, we never imagined they would cheer almost every five minutes!” She further said that she is amazed by the response the movie has got despite having two debutants in the lead. The response that the movie has received brought tears to Aathmika’s eyes.

When asked about how she landed the role, Aathmika said, “Aadhi had spotted me on social media and got in touch. I met the team and they did a test shoot immediately. It took a while for me to accept the fact that I play the lead role in a film.” The actress will soon sign her next movie.
