Ajith Kumar Protests Online Harassment

Online hooliganism has become a trend nowadays. It seems no one can control such activities in the digital world. Recently, a Chennai based journalist was harassed by people online for her negative comments on Vijay’s film ‘Sura’. However, Vijay later addressed the issue by disseminating a press release condemning the action where he stated that everyone has the liberty to give their own opinion.

Actor Ajith Kumar has now volunteered to protest against such online harassment. The actor has released a press statement which stated that there are a few unauthorized self-proclaimed individuals, groups and associations, who passed their personal opinions on social and political issues under the disguise of Ajith, using his name and image.

The actor further made an apology for persons victimised earlier of such egoistic fans. The press release also stated that such miscreants should be identified and held accountable. Many people were moved by his actions in the industry who praised the actor for doing the right the right thing. On the work front, the actor will be seen in his upcoming film Vivegam, which is set to hit the screens on August 24.
