Ajith Suffers Ankle Injury

According to reports, superstar Ajith has suffered an ankle injury while dancing for a song. The song from Vedalam was being shot and it was the last of day of shooting. The movie will have a Diwali release and the fans are eagerly waiting for the film.

After getting injured, the actor continued to shoot for the song till it was completed. Director Siva wanted to stop the shooting so the actor could get medical treatment but that only happened after the shoot was complete. The actor was part of another similar incidence while shooting for Arrambam.

The cast for Vedalam includes Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Meon, Ashwin Kakumanu and Kabir Singh, along with Ajith. The cinematography is being handled by Vetri. Anirudh will be taking up the role of music director. The fans have been hyped by the audio and teaser of the film. A. M. Rathnam and S. Aishwarya will be producing the film.
