Arima Nambi releases today, Vikram Prabhu to be seen as an ultimate action hero!

Actor Vikram Prabhu will be seen in a new avataar in his upcoming flick Arima Nambi. Arima Nambi is said to be an action thriller directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. Vikram Prabhu plays a strong character named Arjun in the movie. Apparently, the actor performed all the stunts himself. Vikram says, "I play Arjun, a city-bred guy. So, I sport a rather stylish hairdo for my role. Considering that there are a lot of action sequences, I worked out quite a bit for this film. But since I suffered an injury on my shoulder while shooting for my previous flick, I was asked to take a break from doing weights. I felt bad, but Anand was happy with my look."

Talking about his movie, the actor says "I've always liked watching action films and enjoyed doing action sequences in Arima Nambi. It is a challenge to do stunts, but I have gone beyond my limitations to see how far I can go. Some of them were quite risky, but it was all worth it." He adds, "There is an action sequence that takes place atop a building. We had to run on the ledges. It was pretty hard and risky, but it has come out well. The most interesting one, however, will be the car chase scene which I have done for the first time. I drove an SUV at high speed on the ECR stretch. The car wasn't really performing well, but I had to push it. It was quite an experience! I literally handed over my life to the stunt master and performed my own stunts in the film.”

The actor who made his debut with Prabhu Solomon's Kumki also praised debutant director Anand Shankar and his co-star Priya Anand. He said "Anand has planned and executed the film really well. I saw the final cut and it is the exact replica of what he had narrated to me. He was confident and stuck to what he believed. And Priya Anand (who plays the female lead) is a bundle of energy. She is well-read and in fact, Anand, Priya and I would always chat about something random that made perfect sense to us. I had a great time shooting for this film." The film is all set to hit the screens today. Let’s see if Vikram could win people’s hearts with his performance!
