Arya considers Irandam Ulagam’s shooting fun

Film actor Arya is glad with his latest romantic fantasy Irandaam Ulagam and says that shooting for this was so much fun. He communicated that he shot in some places where there was no electricity and they shot in minus four degrees temperature with no hot water availability, “In our Georgia schedule, we shot at this place called Datlo; it's about a seven-hour drive from Telavi. Civilization ends at this point —we had no electricity, no hot water, and in minus four degrees, we all huddled together in a hut, with just one restroom per hut, on location throughout the entire schedule. Despite these practical difficulties, we had so much fun shooting."

Arya reviewed the scripts as amazing and called it a novel thought, “It's one of those scripts that amaze you when you listen to it. But making it into a film on the celluloid is a very difficult job.” The actor further shared his dual characters in the project, “Yes, one is that of a young student who also teaches. He's soft-spoken, innocent, hardworking and loyal. He gets intimidated by almost everything under the sun. And the other guy is strong, but dumb. I was able to pull off both the roles because Selva was clear about what he wanted from me.”

The 32-year-old has to work hard to get in shape for the character. He further revealed that the character needed well-defined features so he went on a protein diet, gave up carbohydrates completely and worked out like crazy. He also avoided water as it can fill the gaps and will make him look puffy. Irandaam Ulagam is a story about a guy who travels another world for his love. The film produced by Prasad V. Potluri and has screenplay by Selvaraghavan. The film released today stars Anushka Shetty as the lead pair opposite Arya.
