Ashok Pandian Loses His Tempo With Rajini Around

Ashok Pandian is having time of his life as he gears on to shoot with Superstar Rajinikanth in 2.0. Former army officer from Madurai has fit in to the Kollywood like a second skin and has relished playing sophisticated roles, namely medical practitioner, industrialist or father. Ashok is on sky nine, as he shares the screen with Rajini and even opened up about his experience of working in this sci-fi thriller.

“I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to share screen space with Rajini sir. It was four days of shoot and my first shot on the first day itself was with Superstar! Though a bit jittery inside, I didn’t show it and completed my dialogues at jet speed in one go”, said elated star.

Ashok went on, “As soon as the shot got done, Shankar sir came to me and said, ‘everything is fine, but reduce the speed with which you speak your dialogues’. Hearing this Rajini sir said with a smile, ‘I guess anyone who acts alongside me is bound to get the ‘speed’!” Now, here we can all agree that Rajini is absolutely right.
